Gil Bourrier Aircraft Model Building Workshop March 21 2015 with Joseph Martin Instructing at Lyncrest Flight Centre

Gil Bourrier Aircraft Model Building Workshop March 21 2015 with Joseph Martin Instructing at Lyncrest Flight Centre. Great way to get a better understanding of how an airplane is constructed and the control surfaces on a plane. Also a wonderful way to start teaching yourself how to fly!!

Mark Essenburg - Theory of Flight!
Hugh Martin, Keith Olson, Rick Walls, Brian Koldyk helping out Youth - Adult couples
Larry Brown - flew in from Stonewall to teach how to make an awesome paper plane
Jim Goold - Chef - hot dog lunch with fruit, drinks, hot chocolate! and master model builder.
Joe Vodepevic - Sturgeon Heights Collegiate, dropped in a few days earlier to get the flight sim working!
Thank you to this team of volunteers who helped and others who dropped in to check if more help was needed!

About 20 youth and adults participated in this fun and educational workshop. Models of various degrees of complexity are provided by Joseph so youth aged 7 to 17 and their respective adults (parents/grand parents/neighbour etc) can easily find a model that meets their skill level.

The flight simulator  - check out the aviation program offered by http://sturgeonheights.sjsd.net/
for youth interested in entering one of over 140 aviation-related careers.
